  • | Featured Project | The animation in this video is is made up of 720 individually laser-etched business cards, all of which are hand-stamped and numbered. Each card, therefore, is not only a networking tool to find work after I leave school, but is also a comprehensive representation of what I aim for both professionally and artistically.     2012 Animation, Branding, Creative Direction

  • CB2 Color Pop Color Pop was an assignment for an intermediate 3D class, called 3D for Designers at ex'pression college.

Our prompt was to bring the CB2 catalogue to life using the theme of Color Pop, from their spring 2012 catalogue.

Some assets are original models and some are modified from the cinema 4D library. All animation and. Compositing done by myself.

Project Duration: two and a half weeks.

  • 5s Pantone Exercise This is an in-class 5 second exercise for Pantone Plus.     2011 Motion Graphics
  • Hook Titles Sequence This is an original title sequence created for the film, Hook (1991). This project was created for a motion-titles class at Ex'pression College, March 2012, and is not affiliated with the movie itself.

My concept was to illustrate Peter Pan leaving Never Land and growing up into the career-driven adult he is at the beginning of the movie.

In order to accomplish this, I curated a number of different objects that represent different time-periods in a boys life as he grows into adulthood. Next, I composited shadows in the background — paying homage to the original J.M. Barrie Peter Pan story — that show Peter in Neverland growing up into the adult-Peter portrayed in the film.

This project was conceived and completed in 5 weeks.

Have a look at the behind-the-scenes clip below to see a montage of my process from early storyboards to final composite.
